1990 BMW 520i E34 Restoration Peterborough

Last year, during Q3 & Q4, we had the privilege of restoring a true automotive gem - a 1990 BMW 520i E34 - for one of our cherished customers. This restoration journey was a labour of love, spanning months and requiring meticulous attention to detail. But for our customer, it was about much more than just fixing a car; it was about preserving cherished memories. 

This vintage BMW holds a special place in our customer's heart. Purchased from the very site where our Bodyshop stands today, it has been a faithful companion through countless adventures across Europe. With its sentimental value deeply ingrained, our customer wanted to ensure this beloved vehicle received the care and attention it deserved. Initially planned as a gift for his wife's 70th birthday, the restoration journey extended into a heartwarming Christmas surprise.

When the time came to hand back the restored BMW to our customer, emotions ran high. In our showroom, memories collided as the customer pointed to the exact spot where the car stood when they first purchased it. "It's looked after me all these years, it's taken me all over Europe, so now it's my turn to look after the car."

The handover was not just a transaction; it was a moment of profound connection between the owner and their cherished vehicle.
